Within a year of the spend management technology initiative, the company realized that their ambitious spend analysis transformation goals, when combined with other sourcing, procurement content and invoicing initiatives, was placing significant time and resource constraints on the deployment team.
To better leverage ASV as their data analysis solution, leadership within the company’s purchasing organization identified four key areas for improvement:
- Creating a better process for automating the data loads from the source system to ASV
- Identifying ways to increase enrichment data accuracy and completeness
- Improving the process for analyzing data sets and gaining consistency in reporting
- Increasing internal knowledge of ASV to improve its usage for identifying savings opportunities
