- Process Improvement/Monitoring
Procurement has an increasing profile in many enterprises today due largely to the fact that every dollar saved in this area goes directly to the bottom line. However, it is important to realize that the implementation of an e-Sourcing or e-Procurement system is not a panacea to automatically improve process-related inefficiencies, but rather a tool that gives an organization more options to design and adhere to better processes. Our business process design approach focuses on the following areas of improvement:
- Extend the footprint of the e-Procurement system from a Requisition-to-Order cycle into a Source-to-Settle cycle including close integration to contract compliance, invoice reconciliation and/or payment systems
- Bring more spend under the management of the procurement department thereby reducing transaction costs and maverick spend and increasing adherence to centralized procurement processes and contract compliance
- Expand the e-Procurement or e-Sourcing system’s scope to include more complex categories and work collaboratively with suppliers to more efficiently manage the requisitioning process
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance throughout the Source-to-Settle cycle in order to ensure that key process steps are carried out in a timely manner and areas for improvement can be easily identified
Our consultants are experienced hires from all industries with extensive experience in global, regional and local implementations. This ensures the most effective business process design and execution. |
